This stunning vintage forest green wool skirt suit was designed by Thierry Mugler in the 1980's.  We love vintage Thierry Mugler and this suit is a gorgeous example of the quality and style of his pieces.  This suit is a signature Mugler shape and style, with the unexpected details you would expect.

The skirt has an asymmetrical slit down the right leg, a wide hook and eye closure, a metal snap button, and asymmetrical metal zipper at the back left side. The jacket has a low v front, a velvet lined pointed collar and the great black velvet covered buttons on the front and on the cuffs. The narrow cinched waist is a signature element of vintage Thierry Mugler silhouettes. This suit is completely lined in cotton and the blazer or jacket has shoulder pads for structure.

Made in France. This set is labeled a size 38, and  We estimate this would best fit a modern 4 or a small 6.
